OBSESSED with my new hair!!! Jen turned my dream of a silver/grey balayage into a reality. I came running to Hera salon after a horrid attempt was performed on my head at another salon. (Also special mention to the receptionist, Esther- she’s an amazing human.) Jen gave me a long, thorough consultation and offered to do the colour correction the next day (her day off) so it would be fixed before my birthday 🙂 SHE KILLED IT!!! She gave me another consultation the morning of my appointment to make sure she knew everything about my hair history. She also let me know what she thought was going to happen to my hair since we were bleaching it a second time. She did a good job of managing my expectations and let me know what was going on through the long whole process. She also knew when to stop bleaching so my hair wouldn’t break and still managed to get me to a beautiful silver colour (my hair is super dark brown and had previously been dyed pink, so this was a tough job). I am SO HAPPY!!! Thank you Jen!!!!

A really awesome salon. I had a session here a week ago with Jane who fixed me up with the most beautiful light blonde balayage. Loved how they were honest about which of my inspiration photos were realistic as this meant I felt comfortable throughout the session and ended up with the exact hair I had hoped for. They really know what they’re doing when it comes to hair; if you want your self esteem to shoot up trust me this is the place to go.
I went to Hera salon for my 40th birthday – I hadn’t dyed my hair (or really cut it) in about two years. Not that I didn’t want to, but I had moved to Singapore from New York and had been going to the same salon for 12 years! You know how it goes. The first major appointment at a new salon is always nerve racking. I saw Jen for a balayage, single process for my roots, and a hair cut. I went in with a picture of an ash blonde balayage, but wasn’t sure if it was possible because my natural color is so dark, but Jen really delivered. It took about many hours from start to finish but she never acted rushed or impatient. I really love how it turned out and would definitely recommend!

First time at Hera salon and blown away by the professionalism and friendliness! Ask for Wends for cut + color!! She was able to look at the color inspiration photos I showed her and put her own spin on it so that it would complement my skin tone properly. My balayage from before at a different salon had faded into this orange/brown hue at the ends, and she was able to correct that as well. It was really obvious that Wends is so dedicated to her craft – so friendly and knowledgeable, constantly checking in on me during the bleaching/toning waiting process, giving me tips on how to care for my new (lighter!) color, and even though our time ran a little past their closing hour, she took her time to make sure everything was perfect and not rushed. That level of friendliness and professionalism (plus the end result) really impressed me. Also want to say a big thank you to Belle at reception for her assistance that day! Cannot say enough good things! I had a grown out balayage that was really yellow and Wends did a partial balayage on the top to cover the grow out and toned down the yellow to a really nice mushroom/ashy brown and it’s blended beautifully! Everyone who works there is so sweet and would certainly recommend her for anyone wanting a gorgeous balayage!
